Margaritaville At Sea drink packages aren't all-inclusive, so anyone who plans on drinking at least 10 alcoholic drinks will save money on the pre-packaged offerings. For less than 10 beverages throughout the voyage, a la carte pricing may be a better option. My Drinks Plus includes all of the above, plus a wider selection of beers, premium cocktails and top-shelf liqueurs, unlimited bottled water and mini bar drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and dining options onboard Margaritaville at Sea’s Paradise my second time onboard.
Complimentary Restaurants
This was a great addition and kept this large venue filled with guests enjoying their evening. No drink packages, excepting sodas were offered or listed at that time. The last MAS facebook post I saw indicated they company was still working in developing drink/packages excursions for Islander. Starting April 30, 2022, the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise ship will set sail on it’s maiden voyage departing from the Port of Palm Beach in Riviera Beach (West Palm Beach), Florida. This all new cruise excursion replaces the former Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and will offer passengers three-day / two-night cruises to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island with sailings occurring every other day. Kick up your flip flops with this ultimate beverage package – an easy breezy way to sip and sample delicious beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, soda and more – for one great price!

Where does the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise ship dock?

The addition of a cruise line seemed like the next step for a company who roots its branding in tropical aesthetics. But if you have recently recovered from the virus, then the rules are relaxed. If you provide a positive test result from an official test that’s between 10 and 90 days before the departure date, then the cruise line will let you sail without further testing or vaccination required. Of course, gratuities are a fact of life on a cruise ship, including Margaritaville.
As You’d Expect, There’s a Major Buffett Theme
Guests staying in one of the suites onboard will see a charge of $19.95 per person, per night. Everything you’d expect onboard any other cruise ship is also found here. From kid’s clubs to the casino, from the dining room to the buffet, from the spa to production shows… it’s all on Margaritaville at Sea. So you sail over, spend either four or six nights at a hotel on the island (Grand Lucayan or Wyndham Fortuna Beach) and then sail back after your stay. Our cruise special offers are an irresistible opportunity to sail off into the sunset for an easy-breezy cruise vacation of nonstop fun. “Paradise” is more than the name of our ship — it’s a state of mind.
We were informed that over the next couple of weeks each venue will receive its own signature drink menu; however, there was not a bar menu to be found onboard just yet. Lastly, there is the Hangout on deck 14, which seemed like a rather hodge-podge venue. Near the entrance on both sides are arcade style games, like skee ball. Then, all the way forward is a small dance floor and a DJ booth, hosting the late night nightclub experience. Oddly, the ship was missing a pub, or bar featuring live acoustic music.
Food and Beverage Options
What came out of the tank was the kind of thin coffee with no spine that you’d get at a sad continental breakfast. In an effort to get back to the tropical beverage category — but too full to drink another piña colada and too underwhelmed by the last margarita — I used the last of our five free drinks on a mojito. To our defense, the Negroni is easy (on paper), made with equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. They were never the right color, always off in proportions and sometimes in ingredients.

I enjoyed the seating area near the window, too, as it made the stateroom feel quite spacious. Infants 6 months or older, children, and adults will enjoy this cruise. If your family wants to escape with a Margaritaville at Sea vacation, consider booking a group package for your multi-generational traveling experience to paradise. If it's like their original ship Paradise, you can purchase more than one wristband. My recollection is that the price was $99 for 10 drinks and that included the gratuity. For $79 per adult and $69 per child, guests will enjoy a day of swimming with the famous Bahamian pigs in the crystal clear waters off Grand Bahama Island.

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise Dining and Entertainment
The Port of Indecision on Deck 10 aft is your traditional cruise ship buffet. There is no sports deck or similar amenities on the outdoor decks of Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. Although, you will still find a spa and fitness center on the ship. The fitness center has newer cardio equipment, free weights, and some weight machines.
Because at Margaritaville at Sea, we trade detailed itineraries for relaxed spontaneity. When you step aboard our cruise ship, you can explore a vacation agenda that’s entirely your own. Reunite with friends over pickleball, rejoice in captivating tropical performances, and revel in the sand between your toes.
Virgin Voyages strives to offer drinks for every budget so a la carte purchases won't have a great deal of sticker shock. Those purchasing a prepaid Bar Tab won't save money on individual beverages, though Virgin often offers a promotional onboard credit as a thank you to those selecting a Bar Tab. For this Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise review, we stayed in an Ocean View Cabin, 7129. According to the deck plans, this portside stateroom is 176 square feet.
The staff were hardworking and accommodating; although, many of them had only been on the ship for a short time. The main cabin itself has been updated with a bright, yet minimalistic, island décor. Finally, there is the Stars on the Water Bar, which is located in front of the theater.
The Princess Plus Beverage Package includes cocktails, spirits, beer and glasses of wine. Also included are bottled water, fresh juices and smoothies, fountain soda, energy drinks, specialty coffee and tea and other nonalcoholic beverage options. Each purchaser of the package also receives a 25 percent discount on a selection of bottled wines, including rare vintages. For higher shelf selections, the Elite Beverage Package includes premium spirits, cocktails, wines, beers, coffees, nonalcoholic beverages, bottled water and sodas. Guests are limited to 15 alcoholic beverages per day, though nonalcoholic beverages are unlimited with the Elite package.
If you booked your July 16 sailing on the Islander you would of saw all the packages they are offering. Sarasota, located on Florida's Southwest Coast, offers a unique blend of urban amenities and beach-town bliss. This destination is known for its cultural offerings, including a thriving arts scene,... For $199 per adult and per child, guests will be able to swim directly in the water with bottlenose dolphin for 20 to 25 minutes. If a more mild experience is wanted, then the dolphin close encounters will also guests to interact with dolphins for about 10 minutes. The cost of the dolphin encounter is $131 per adult and $99 per child.
The new ship will offer two-night, round-trip voyages to the island of Grand Bahama in The Bahamas. It’s called Margaritaville at Sea, and the brand’s new Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise ship officially launched this week. Something I noticed had improved onboard this sailing was the addition of more onboard activities. For those who love to dance, Margaritaville at Sea has added a brand new venue at the very top of the ship for adult guests.
Really, the only complimentary venue for breakfast and lunch is the buffet. It would be nice if there was an alternative venue offering small bites and snacks throughout the day similar to cafes on other cruise lines. It seems like a natural fit for Margaritaville to have its own cruise line. After all, cruising delivers good food, plenty of entertainment, and island vibes. During our 3 total days on Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, we certainly got a glimpse of what this cruise line could look like in the future. Dinner took over two hours both evenings, with very uneven pacing.
